During July and August of 2010, Around and Around undertook their first circumnavigation of Britain.

Leading the team of young people were two young adult co-skippers, themselves graduates of The Raymarine Lively Lady Project. Since then, the project has gone from strength to strength. The charity's original yacht, Robertson's G, has now been joined by Lively Lady – the yacht sailed around the world first by Portsmouth grocer, Sir Alec Rose, and then by the young adults of the Raymarine Lively Lady Project.
The sailing trips may be the highlight for the young people but the real focus of the project is the life-skills they must acquire to get to that point. It is these life-skills that are so important in broadening the opportunities of these young people as they move forward in life.

From here on the challenges, and the lessons, just get bigger! Acquiring Lively Lady has long been a dream for the charity
but a major restoration programme is vital before she can consider sailing around the world again. So, for the moment, sailing will be on Robertson's G as the team begin the important process of raising funds to make the dream of a third circumnavigation for Lively Lady a reality.
